Job Description Rotork is seeking a strategic and forward‑thinking Global Trade Compliance Strategy Lead to design, implement, and continuously enhance our global trade compliance framework. This is a high‑impact role responsible for building a robust Business Controls Framework (BCF) that ensures compliant, efficient, and scalable cross‑border operations across all Rotork sites. You’ll shape global policy, define best‑practice processes, and lead the development of systems and controls that safeguard our business while enabling operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Develop global trade compliance standards, policies, and procedures. Create and document best‑practice processes for customs, export controls, and sanctions. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to implement global and local procedures. Lead system development to support the new BCF. Monitor regulatory changes and update processes accordingly. Identify operational gaps and drive improvements through compliance solutions. Deliver training, audits, and performance reporting for senior leadership. Define and track KPIs, including audit results, cycle times, and cost savings. Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or automation. What You’ll Bring Strong expertise in global trade compliance. Proven experience designing and implementing compliance frameworks. Ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross‑functional change. Continuous improvement mindset with relevant methodology experience. Qualifications Essential Extensive recent international experience of International Import and Export Regulations; Customs Authorities, Customs Brokers, Clearance Procedures, Export Licenses, International Traffic in Arm Regulations (ITAR) , Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Degree or equivalent professional qualification Professional Qualification related to Import /Export / International Trade Compliance Desirable Experienced in implementing AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) programmes Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
