Are you ready to ensure seamless logistics and planning activities? We’re looking for a proactive Global Vendor Planner to be the key point of contact between cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring materials are scheduled, evaluated, and delivered on time, every time.

WHAT WE NEED:

  • Experience : Minimum 3 years working with MRP, SAP, or ERP systems, and 3 years in supply chain roles such as supply planning or production planning.
  • Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to adapt to different audiences and be precise and timely.
  • Team Player : Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment.
  • Customer Focus : Strong decision-making skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP, and other relevant processes.
  • Language Skills : Fluent in English.
Responsibilities
  • Supplier Planning : Manage the weekly planning process for specific suppliers, supporting all plants with component planning.
  • Maintain Parameters : Keep planning parameters in line with global replenishment rules and inventory strategies.
  • Drive Improvements : Continuously improve planning processes to meet inventory targets.
  • Capacity Analysis : Coordinate with the team to analyze supplier capacity and ensure it matches actual shipments.
  • Support Projects : Assist with various initiatives, including new product introductions and last-time buy projects.
  • Issue Escalation : Escalate supplier issues as needed, prepare escalation files, and follow action plans to resolve issues and minimize impact.
  • Supplier Visits : Visit suppliers regularly or as part of a task force during crises.
  • Logistics Development : Support supplier logistics development and help negotiate and sign logistics protocols.
