• Create and implement strategic industry business plans to grow Univar Solutions’ market share position in bulk inorganic products.
• Maintain P&L responsibility for the performance of bulk inorganic products. Achieve in-year financial goals, including sustainable, profitable growth and market share gains through a culture of accountability and performance.
• Monitor and respond to market dynamics, customer feedback, and supplier capabilities to proactively adjust sales and sourcing strategies. Identify and build the case for investments to drive business performance.
• Balance long-term strategic planning with agile, day-to-day execution to ensure responsiveness to market shifts and customer needs.
• Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers and major chemical producers/suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships, satisfaction, and revenue growth.
• Ensure cross-functional collaboration to drive and support sales across other teams such as Local Chemical Distribution and Corporate Accounts, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
• Ensure supply chain optimization in cooperation with Operations/Transportation lead to meet customer needs and cost-to-serve.
• Support a culture of engagement and high performance that that aligns with Univar Solutions’ values. Hire and develop talent, coach objectively for performance and skill development, provide candid feedback, and ensure a high impact organizational structure with the right people are in the right roles for business success.
