Job Purpose: The Global Vice President – Enterprise Performance & Rate Strategy is the executive authority responsible for the economic performance architecture of DP World’s Global Forwarding business. The role governs the enterprise frameworks that structurally determine Gross Profit quality, pricing integrity, operational performance transparency, and margin realization across all regions. While regional P&L ownership remains decentralized, this position holds formal enterprise authority over pricing policy, margin standards, operational controlling frameworks, and rate governance mechanisms that directly influence GP delivery and financial sustainability. As architect and Executive Business Owner of Network Rate Management (NPM), the enterprise pricing and rate governance platform, the VP ensures that the global pricing engine reflects approved rate strategy, embedded margin controls, lifecycle governance standards, and structural safeguards against erosion. The role chairs the Global Pricing & Performance Committee and serves as the senior enterprise escalation authority for rate and pricing deviations, structural performance gaps, and margin integrity risks across all regions. Key accountabilities: Enterprise Performance & Operational Controlling Own and govern the global performance management architecture integrating of OCD into a coherent executive steering model (Business Growth and Delivery – BGD). Set enterprise-wide operational and financial performance targets and hold regional leadership accountable for delivery. Define and implement the global operational controlling framework and performance quality standards related to margin realization and execution discipline. Ensure performance insights translate into measurable improvements in operational quality, customer experience, and financial outcomes. Establish transparency of structural margin erosion risks and performance volatility. Lead performance escalation and corrective action processes at executive level. Enterprise Rate Strategy & Margin Governance Define and own the global rate management and pricing strategy covering end-to-end rate components. Establish enterprise margin governance standards protecting Gross Profit quality. Hold enterprise accountability for the structural mechanisms that enable measurable GP improvement. Ensure structural pricing integrity across regions while reflecting market realities. Safeguard pricing architecture against systemic dilution. Influence capital allocation and investment prioritization related to pricing automation, performance analytics, and digital rate infrastructure. Network Rate Management (NPM) – Enterprise Ownership As Executive Business Owner and Architect of NPM, the VP is accountable for the integrity and evolution of the enterprise rate engine (NPM). Ensure embedded margin controls and structural pricing safeguards. Govern rate ingestion, validation, lifecycle management, and compliance. Align enterprise pricing policy with system logic. Approve business requirements and release readiness. Lead arbitration where system design impacts margin architecture. Ensure that GTM, Global Key Account Management, and Industry Verticals operate within the enterprise pricing architecture defined by NPM. Enterprise Financial Impact & Risk Governance The role is accountable for: Structural Gross Profit quality across the global forwarding business. Margin integrity and prevention of systemic erosion. Transparency of pricing and performance risk exposure. Operational controlling mechanisms influencing revenue realization quality. Executive-level visibility of economic performance architecture. Provide structured performance, pricing, and margin risk reporting to the Executive Committee and Board-level stakeholders. While not holding direct regional P&L ownership, the VP governs the frameworks and structural levers that determine financial outcomes. OTHER Undertake additional projects as assigned by management. Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviors in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications, Experience and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field; MBA strongly preferred 15+ years senior leadership in freight forwarding or complex logistics networks with enterprise pricing, margin governance, performance architecture, and executive steering experience. Demonstrated executive ownership of global financial steering mechanisms impacting multi-million USD GP performance. Proven executive standing to lead cross-functional arbitration between Operations, Sales, Finance, and Technology.
