While the focus is on consistent metropolitan work, there may be occasional opportunities to support regional projects, depending on workload and project demand. What You’ll Be Doing Construction and maintenance of overhead distribution assets Live line Glove & Barrier work (where qualified) Metropolotian distribution work across Melbourne Planned outages, defect rectification and project delivery Mentoring and on‑site leadership support (where experienced) What’s on Offer $71.59 p/h + allowances – Glove & Barrier (G&B) Lineworkers $64.41 p/h + allowances – Distribution Lineworkers Monday–Friday work supporting work–life balance Strong focus on training, upskilling and competency development – fully funded with not out of pocket cost Access to overtime and weekend work when available Clear pathways into Crew Leader, Worksite Leader and broader leadership roles Financial relocation assistance available for interstate or overseas G&B candidates Exposure to multiple Victorian distribution networks Modern plant, maintained equipment and quality PPE Next training intake for NZ citizens: August 2026 What You’ll Need Certificate III in ESI –Distribution Overhead (or equivalent) Glove & Barrier qualification and live line experience (highly regarded) Victorian Lineworker Registration (Orange Card) HR Driver’s Licence High Risk Work Licences – EWP, Dogging, and/or Rigging Construction White Card, First Aid, CPR, and relevant industry tickets Strong safety focus and teamwork ethic Crane Borer (Peru) experience (highly regarded) High Voltage (HV) Switching Operator (highly regarded) Please note a rigorous pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening test will be conducted.
