JOB SUMMARY:

The Gluer Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the gluer machine to ensure the efficient and accurate production of packaging materials such as cartons, boxes, and other paperboard products. The operator ensures that the machine runs smoothly, maintains quality standards, and meets production deadlines.

• Set up and calibrate the gluer machine according to production specifications.
• Load materials such as paperboard, glue, and adhesives into the machine.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and adjust controls to ensure consistent performance.
• Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet customer specifications and company standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues as they arise to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacements.
• Document production data, including output, machine performance, and any maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
