What are you going to do?
Would you like to work as a Go Developer at our growing proposition ‘Pace’ and ensure that this new and innovative service becomes a success in the security market? And do you want to work in an energetic and ambitious team that develops in collaboration with customers? Then read our vacancy quickly!
Nedap is a listed multinational company with a rich history in security. We are the technological leader in this industry and to stay at the forefront of innovation, a start-up called Pace has been set up from that expertise. Based on the latest technologies, we provide a solution for large customers on a global scale. We take up the challenge every day to make this new technology accessible to the people who work with it and make a real impact on their professional lives.
As Go Developer, you will work with your team of developers to implement an online application used by large multinationals (with 10,000 to 60,000+ employees) to visually organise and manage access rights to workspaces. In short: ‘Who can enter where and when, and why?’ We develop our solution in close contact with our customers.
‘We solve the dilemma between a secure workplace versus manageability and “need to know” versus accessibility with modern techniques. We are unique in this and modern society increasingly demands solutions to this dilemma. Infrastructure will have to handle large volumes of requests and be designed to be resilient.’ (Jeroen, Security Specialist)
Your responsibilities
Your team
As a Go Developer, you will be part of the software development team. The software development team is a diverse team consisting of Backend, Frontend, Architecture and Infra, and is a mix of juniors, mediors and seniors. The team is supported by a UX-Designer and the Product Owner. We value the mutual relationships in the team and value good and clear communication, collaboration and sociability. We maintain a no-blame culture and always work forward. For instance, we take a new version to production several times a day. The team is dynamic and is constantly improving itself. There is plenty of room for own initiative.
‘We tackle problems thoroughly and are driven to get to the essence. At the same time, we have a hands-on approach in the way we do this.’ (Wouter, Team Captain)
Our offer
As a Go Developer at Nedap, you will make a valuable contribution to our goal: making people happier and more successful in their professional lives. In addition to your salary, you are entitled to a thirteenth month, a good pension scheme, and profit sharing with the opportunity to become a shareholder of Nedap. At Nedap, everything revolves around trust and autonomy. You determine your own working hours and vacation days. We also highly value personal and professional growth. You will receive a comprehensive introduction, and we encourage you to continuously develop yourself.
Required experience and skills
As a Go Developer within our start-up team, it is important that you dare to innovate. Because we are breaking new ground, it is important that you are solution-oriented and work autonomously. You are highly communicative and have the skills to quickly understand the needs of colleagues, our users and other stakeholders.
In addition, you recognise yourself in the following:
Good to know: You are available for 32 - 38 hours. Hybrid (remote) working is common within Nedap, but we expect you to be at our Groenlo office at least two days a week.
About Nedap in Security
In security, we enable a shift from traditional access control to a broader, people-centered approach. Our solutions support seamless movement across organizations, making access management truly about people flow.
