ABOUT CONTENTED Contented is a Christchurch-based conversation intelligence platform that transforms meeting recordings into structured professional documents. We serve 300+ businesses globally across wealth management, legal, construction, agriculture, and healthcare. We recently raised our seed round and are in active growth mode, building out our product, customer base, and go-to-market infrastructure. We are a small, fast-moving team. Everyone here does real work. No one watches from the sidelines. We believe the age of AI will be dictated by taste. When everything can be generated, what stands out is care, polish, and human touch. Right now, AI is outputting a lot of content with zero taste; people are craving something better. WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS We need a force multiplier. Someone who can ship. Someone who can take an idea and turn it into a LinkedIn ad, a beautiful landing page, a short-form video, a campaign. Someone who doesn't just make things look good, but runs experiments to find out what actually works, and then iterates fast. This is not a "make the newsletter look pretty" role. It's a creative-commercial role for someone who thinks in hypotheses, designs with purpose, and uses AI tools to maximise efficiencies. THE ROLE You'll sit at the intersection of design, content, and growth. Working closely with the team, you'll execute brand and content strategy across paid and organic channels - building ads, creating social content, designing landing pages, and running experiments to figure out what moves the needle. You will use AI tools heavily, including Claude, to draft, iterate, and produce content at pace. We're not looking for someone who's curious about AI, we're looking for someone already using it as a core part of how they work. You'll bring a designer's eye and a marketer's brain. You care about how something looks and whether it converts. WHAT YOU’LL REALLY BE DOING Design and creative execution * Design ads across LinkedIn and other paid channels from concept through to final asset. * Build and iterate landing pages, marketing collateral and campaign pages in collaboration with the team. * Create social content that looks native to the platform and on-brand for Contented. * Maintain visual consistency across everything Contented puts into the market. Call out when something doesn't look right, and fix it. Experimentation and growth * Run structured experiments across channels. * Think in hypotheses: "If we lead with time-saved rather than impact, what happens to CTR?", then find out. Track what's working, document what isn't, and use that to inform the next round. * Support paid campaigns from briefing through to performance reporting. Content production * Use Claude and other AI tools to draft, iterate, and produce content at pace including copy for ads, posts, emails, landing pages. * Work on short-form video scripts, social series, and campaign concepts. * Produce case study assets and vertical-specific content across our key industries. * Help build and maintain our template library content with fresh creative. Channel and campaign support * Support conference and event activations from pre-event campaigns to post-event lead nurture. * Help coordinate organic social publishing across platforms. * Assist with email campaigns and HubSpot sequences. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * Minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing, design, or creative role, with real examples of work you've shipped. * Already using AI tools (Claude design etc.) as a core part of how you work. * Strong design instincts - you have an eye, you know when something's off, and you know how to fix it. * Experience designing ads or social content. * Thinks in experiments. You form a hypothesis, run it, and learn from the result. * Comfortable with ambiguity. We're a startup. Direction is clear; execution often requires figuring things out. * Strong enough writer to produce copy independently, with the Contented strategy to guide you. * Based in or willing to relocate to Christchurch. NICE TO HAVE * Experience with Figma, Canva, Claude or similar design tools. * Familiarity with paid social platforms - LinkedIn, Google. * Basic video editing skills for short-form content (Reels, LinkedIn video, TikTok-style).
