ABOUT CARMD
CarMD has been helping consumers understand their vehicles for years with easy-to-use diagnostic tools and repair insights. Our products are designed to give everyday drivers the information they need to stay ahead of car problems, avoid unnecessary repairs, and make confident decisions about vehicle maintenance. With a commitment to accuracy and simplicity, CarMD continues to be a trusted name for car owners looking to take control of their vehicle’s health.
We are now launching a new connected vehicle product that combines app-based tracking and diagnostic insights. Our goal is to help families stay safe and prevent costly repairs. We are looking for a strategic and performance-focused marketer to lead the rollout.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
CarMD is seeking a results-driven, performance-focused Marketing Manager to lead the execution of our go-to-market strategy. This is a remote contract-to-hire role with a clear path to full-time leadership. You will be responsible for building a high-performing marketing pod and managing the execution of campaigns across paid media, landing pages, content, and ecommerce.
Your role is not to do the work yourself, but to own the funnel strategy, hire the right talent, and lead the team toward measurable growth. You will manage a small, agile team focused on rapid testing, performance insights, and scaling winning funnels — with a dual mandate to grow direct-to-consumer revenue and support retail sell-through.
This is a builder role for someone who thrives on ownership, iteration, and accountability. Success in this position will lead to a long-term leadership role within the company as we scale.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Demonstrated ability to lead and build marketing teams, including hiring and managing specialists across paid media, content, and analysis
· Comfortable working with acquisition metrics such as CAC, ROAS, LTV, and conversion rates, using them to guide strategy and decision-making
· Familiar with full-funnel marketing concepts including paid acquisition, content-driven engagement, landing page optimization, and email flows
· Strong communication skills, including the ability to synthesize data into clear actions and present strategy to stakeholders
· Highly organized and effective at setting priorities, sprints, and feedback loops for fast-moving marketing pods
· Able to collaborate cross-functionally with ecommerce, product, creative, and leadership teams
· Familiarity with tools like Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and email platforms such as Klaviyo is a plus, but not required upfront
