JOB SUMMARY:

Clinton Public Schools is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Math Teacher to join our GOLD Academy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engaging and rigorous instruction in Alebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry to students in grades 9-12, fostering a deep understanding of mathematics. The ideal candidate will be passionate about math, possess strong classroom management skills, and be dedicated to student success within a diverse learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Math Education, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Valid Oklahoma teaching certification in Math for High School Credit
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Math content.
  • Experience teaching at the high school level preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and willingness to integrate it into instruction.
  • Commitment to fostering critical thinking, analysis, and effective content area writing skills in students.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize data to inform instruction and differentiate learning for all students.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including grades and attendance.
