Client Relationship Managers (CRMs) are supporting a diverse set of investment products - equities, fixed income, and alternatives - through various distribution vehicles and customized mandates in a fast-paced environment.

This involves partnering closely with investors, portfolio managers and the sales team, keeping them abreast of recent interactions with clients, and collaborating with business and operations teams to address client queries.
GSAM The Hague is responsible for covering the existing asset management business with institutional and insurance investors in The Netherlands.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or finance-related studies
• 1+ years of work experience at an asset management firm or other financial services organization is considered a preference
• Fluency in Dutch and English
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills, including an ability to organize and track multiple threads of activity to deliver on tight timelines and a hands-on approach to resolving issues, in partnership with other teams
• Strong interpersonal skills, including an ability to build trust and confidence of colleagues across different regions, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialogue, and collaborate well with others internally to meet client needs
• Knowledge of the asset management business and financial markets.
• An understanding of portfolio construction, risk management or accounting principles would be beneficial
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, time management skills and excellent follow-through
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Motivated and proactive self-starter with strong work ethicProficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word and exposure to business intelligence tools
