MULTI-ASSET SOLUTIONS OVERVIEW

Multi-Asset Solutions (MAS) is a multi-asset class investing group within Asset & Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs. It develops and implements comprehensive investment management solutions customised to meet the investment objectives for clients. These solutions bring together state-of-the-art techniques for multi-asset portfolio design and implementation and reflect proprietary research and analytics conducted by the MAS team. With investment professionals across the globe, MAS invests or advises on assets for some of the world’s leading corporations, sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, governments, financial institutions, endowments, foundations, family offices and wealth advisors.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of work experience in the sustainability field
  • Experience within Investment Consulting and FM/OCIO firms focusing on ESG, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills (including written, verbal, and presentation) in English
  • Good understanding of main sustainability topics in the UK FM/OCIO context, including but not limited to regulatory requirements (TCFD)
  • Experience in a client-facing role is preferable
  • Experience with ESG data providers is preferable
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and adaptability to new software
  • Takes initiative, is pro-active and has the ability to work with cross-functional teams spread globally
Responsibilities
  • Work closely within the Sustainability Team to create sustainability-oriented commercial and investment content for MAS clients and prospects, mainly within the UK OCIO and OCIO Insurance channels
  • Collaborate with MAS Research, Engineering and Reporting Teams on sustainability matters as well as with other stakeholders within Goldman Sachs Asset Management
  • Grow within the role to become a subject matter expert on sustainability in a multi-asset class investment context, including regulatory and reporting aspects
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest sustainability trends and research as well as regulatory requirements
  • Identify and incorporate client interests and sustainability (investment) preferences to deliver differentiated and value-add solutions to our clients
  • Contribute to providing best-in-class client service by delivering presentation materials, analytics, reports focused on sustainability topics, as requiredCollaborate closely with colleagues to contribute to the delivery of responses to commercial opportunities (e.g. RFPs, RFIs, questionnaires etc.)
