WHAT IS THE ROLE?

The Oxford dictionary defines a Goldsmith as “someone who makes objects from gold.”
At Wongs, this means being part of a dedicated, skilled team committed to excellence, craftsmanship, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
At the heart of Wongs’ vision is a commitment to providing outstanding service in a welcoming, professional, and enjoyable environment. Established in 1979, Wongs has over 45 years of history in Liverpool and is expanding its award-winning brand to Manchester with an exciting new showroom.
Our mission is to create an inclusive, enjoyable, and memorable jewellery-buying experience, with our onsite workshop playing a pivotal role in achieving this goal.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking talented Goldsmiths to join our expanding team. Whether you are just starting out with basic repair skills or are an experienced craftsperson with years of expertise, we welcome applicants at all levels of experience. The salary offered will reflect your skills and background.
Mr. Wong takes pride in producing jewellery to the highest standards, and expects the same from all his goldsmiths. You will work in a modern, clean environment equipped with state-of-the-art technology, alongside award-winning NAJ-qualified goldsmiths. Attention to detail and a commitment to perfection are essential traits - this is the Wongs way.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Repairing and crafting jewellery in platinum, gold, and silver
  • Assembling with precision and attention to detail
  • Organising and maintaining materials and inventory
  • Collaborating with the sales team to meet customer expectations
  • Adhering to all safety protocols for a safe and efficient environment
  • Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance quality and productivity
