OVERVIEW:

We are excited to announce the opening of our new dual-concept location: Mac Legends Indoor Golf and Gameday Gear. Located in the Meridian Mall in Okemos, MI. This new location will include golf simulators, golf retail, alcoholic beverages, indoor driving range, and college apparel and merchandise. We’re looking for energetic, personable team members who can thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment while wearing multiple hats.

• Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of the basics of golf required. The more experience with golf the better.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet and assist customers at the front desk for both our indoor golf facility and our college merchandise store.
• Sell and provide advice on golf clubs, college apparel and merchandise.
• Serve alcohol responsibly and manage beverage service for guests (must be 18+).
• Assist customers with booking tee times and managing golf simulator bays.
• Keep the store and golf areas clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Handle transactions accurately using our Square POS system.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure guests have a great experience.
• Assist with merchandise displays by stocking shelves, folding apparel, and setting up promotional tables.
• Provide basic golf guidance for new simulator users (how to navigate the software, etc.).
• Support opening and closing procedures, cleaning, restocking, locking up, and turning off equipment.

MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage daily operations of the indoor golf and retail facility ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
• Supervise, schedule, and train staff.
• Maintain inventory levels, including golf equipment, accessories, apparel and merchandise.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Build out a comprehensive marketing strategy across all platforms and manage the established marketing budget.
• Provide exceptional customer service to customers, handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Coordinate with golf instructors and schedule lessons or clinics as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
• Run every aspect of indoor golf leagues including creating league schedule, paying out weekly prizes, and posting weekly results.
