Our beautiful clubhouse and impeccably groomed grounds add to the aura of quiet sophistication that is the West Shore Country Club. We are currently seeking Part Time Bag Room Attendants to join our Golf Pro Shop Team. Bag Room Attendants greet members and guests as they arrive at the Club, providing hands on services with golf bag handling, staging golf carts and range services. The Bag Room Attendants report to the Asst. Golf Professionals and the Golf Professional. Starting Rate: $10.00 per hour Seasonal position to accommodate your lifestyle! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Transport golf carts from cart shelter to cart staging area outside of the golf shop; check each golf cart for tire pressure, brake operation and other safety considerations. Load bags from the bag storage room onto golf carts. Unload clubs, clean them, and place in bag drop area or on cart. Transport range balls to each end of range, fill appropriate containers, and place baskets of balls at evenly spaced intervals on range. Operate tractor and ball picker on range to retrieve balls. Wash all range balls daily. Remove bags from golf carts; clean all clubs for members and guests; clean and maintain the club’s rental equipment and return golf bags to assigned rack in bag storage room. Return golf carts to cart shelter; remove towels, pencils, score cards, tees, drink cans, etc., from golf carts and save reusable items; check carts for damage; wash golf cart with pressure cleaner; park cart in shelter and connect charger cable. Ensure all carts are accounted for and plugged in prior to leaving for the day. Inform golf shop staff about clubs found on the course and add to the lost and found. Maintain cleanliness of and order in bag storage room. Adhere to all West Shore Country Club safety policies and procedures. Physical Requirements: Continuous standing, walking, frequent lifting, bending, stooping and repetitive actions; pulling/pushing doors open and closed. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to work outdoors exposed to various weather conditions. Requirements Must be 16 years of age or older. Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week. Must be able to work mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends. Must be able to work all tournaments and golf events. Ability to work unsupervised maintaining a professional and safe demeanor. Must have strong work ethic and ability to work with others.
