Job DetailsJob Location: Hillcrest Country Club - Los Angeles, CA 90064Position Type: SeasonalSalary Range: $21.00 - $28.00 HourlyJob Shift: DayThe Golf Camp Counselor will be a warm, friendly individual who is good with children of all ages and a proficient player with skills to instruct children. He or she will lead, direct, supervise and assist children in group activities, games, and special events. The Golf Camp Counselor will act as a positive role model, ensuring safe, diverse, and fun activities with children in a golf day-camp environment. He or she will safely participate in all activities daily, ensuring camper participation. The Golf Camp Counselor will set up and break down camp events and perform various incidental duties to meet member needs and create lasting memories. Qualifications Collegiate golf experience preferred. A strong golfer with expertise in the rules, etiquette, and language of the game. Prior experience working with children in a similar capacity. Patient and persuasive. An engaging, service-oriented personality; pleasant, caring, and warm; friendly and outgoing without being overbearing. Creative, spontaneous, and fun. Able to keep track of a group of children, keep them all engaged and adapt his/her style to different children as needed. Able to communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders; to follow oral and written instructions and to memorize necessary information. A team player able to work well with others and remain calm under stress. Safety conscious with strong attention to detail. Exceptional grooming habits, maintaining a clean and complete uniform as designated by Management. Punctual and reliable. Comfortable with frequent interruptions.
Responsibilities
