Description As our Golf Cart Attendant, you will handle golf cart reservations for guests at the Resort. You will work in a fast-paced environment and are responsible for the daily care and cleaning of the golf carts and ensuring they’re in excellent operating condition for guests. Additionally, you will keep a daily log of golf cart rentals and returns, and ensure guests and customers receive quality customer service. This is a seasonal position that may require flexible scheduling availability. Requirements Job Requirements: Greet guests and customers; make golf cart reservations through reservation system and complete credit card payment transactions Follow safety procedures while performing job duties, including safely operating golf carts Clean and maintain golf carts and wash areas on a daily basis Provide guests with golf cart operation and equipment instructions Provide information and respond to guest inquiries regarding the resort and local attractions, directions, etc. Ensure guests follow proper safety procedures when operating golf carts Inspect golf cart and equipment to detect wear and damage and to ensure the safety, cleanliness and proper working order Perform minor repairs and communicate major damage and additional maintenance concerns to Guest Services Supervisor or Manager Ensure golf cart batteries are charged on a daily basis Job Qualifications: Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary Ability to work well in stressful situations Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service Ability to work in a fast-pace, multitasking environment Ability to endure fluctuations in temperatures as working conditions require constant outdoor work The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
