Job Description The Golf Cart Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall performance of golf carts and utility vehicles. This role ensures all carts are safe, reliable, and operating efficiently to support daily operations and guest or staff use. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on golf carts, including battery checks, tire pressure, brake systems, and fluid levels Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete timely repairs Repair or replace faulty parts such as batteries, motors, controllers, wiring, tires, and brakes Conduct preventative maintenance to extend the lifespan of equipment Maintain accurate service records and repair logs Ensure all carts meet safety standards and are clean and presentable Respond promptly to service calls and breakdowns Assist with inventory management of parts and tools Follow all safety procedures and company policies Qualifications Previous experience as a mechanic (small engine, automotive, or electric vehicle experience preferred) Knowledge of electrical systems, battery maintenance, and mechanical troubleshooting Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Valid driver’s license Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent standing, bending, and kneeling Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Preferred Qualifications Experience with electric and gas-powered golf carts Technical certification in automotive or small engine repair Experience in hospitality, resort, or golf course environments Additional Information Auberge Resorts Collection is a portfolio of extraordinary hotels, resorts, residences, and private clubs.
