The Golf - Chief Engineer at Qiddiya Investment Company is responsible for the overall engineering operations and maintenance of the golf facilities. This leadership role ensures that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the golf course and associated facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and functionality to provide an exceptional experience for guests and staff. Key Responsibilities Oversee the maintenance and repair of all engineering systems related to the golf course, including irrigation, lighting, HVAC, and equipment. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize asset lifespan and reliability. Manage and lead the engineering team to ensure timely and effective service delivery. Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and projects. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and Qiddiya policies. Prepare and manage budgets related to engineering operations and maintenance activities for the golf facilities. Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime. Provide technical expertise and support for new construction or enhancement projects within the golf facilities. Maintain accurate records and reports on maintenance activities and asset conditions. Collaborate with other departments to support overall facility operations and guest satisfaction. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering management, preferably within golf courses, resorts, or similar hospitality environments. Strong technical knowledge of golf course infrastructure systems such as irrigation, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Proven leadership and team management skills. Experience in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in the hospitality or sports facility sectors. Ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships effectively.
