Madden’s is currently seeking a full-time Golf Course Maintenance Project Manager who will perform various excavations, construction and miscellaneous projects on resort grounds and golf courses. This includes planning and scheduling of projects as well as execution. Qualifications Plans many different scales of projects for both the resort and golf courses alongside the Superintendent. Operates Cat end-loader/backhoe and John Deere skid steer. Operates GMC dump truck and boom truck. Operates miscellaneous tractors, utility vehicles and mowers. Complete projects on the golf courses and resort grounds at the direction of Superintendent. Assist Resort Grounds Assistant with installation and removal of designated docks. Assist golf course and resort crews as needed. Assists Mechanics with upkeep and maintenance of all heavy machinery. Perform tree removal and cut up for firewood as necessary. Pick up and haul sand, mulch, soil, rock etc. with dump truck. Make repairs to asphalt roads, parking lots and cart paths as directed by the Assistant Superintendent. Unload freight deliveries by Cat and forks as necessary. Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas. Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Superintendent or the Assistant Superintendent. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Understands and adheres to Madden’s Smoking and Tobacco Products policy. Attend training and staff meetings. Regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as required. Education/Experience: Minimum of 1 years’ experience of previous ground maintenance management. High School Diploma. Valid Driver’s License. Work Environment: Work is performed mainly outside on golf courses or in a maintenance shop. Physical Demands: Primarily walking or standing for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to stand, walk, talk/hear, both in person and by telephone, occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50-pound boxes and sometimes up to 100 pounds.
