The Golf Course Ranger/Starter position is responsible for providing a positive guest experience while at Wilderness Resort Golf facilities, proactive problem solving, attention to detail and minor course maintenance. This is a seasonal position with day, night and weekend availability. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Enforce 4.5 hours pace of play policy by using GPS system and assisting slow groups. Communicate with both starter and golf shop staff about possible problem on the golf course. Communicate any possible golf course condition problems to the gold shop & maintenance staff. Assist with outing preparation, cart staging, set up and remove flag events on golf course, pre-tournament bag service, Shotgun leader. Minor course maintenance such as trash removal, ball washer maintenance, fill divots with sand and seed fix ball marks on greens, maintain clean restrooms on course, monitor and fill water jugs. Assist with player services when needed. Provide excellent services and assistance to all guests. Be informed on, and promote Wild Rock and Wilderness Resort properties. Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times. Perform starter duties when necessary, such as: Assist with golf cart staging when time permits. Communicate with Golf Shop and outside staff about possible group issues. Ensure that first tee runs on time. Follow tee sheet to ensure groups are sent to the first tee correctly. Responsible for ensuring area around the putting green is clean and notifying golf shop staff of maintenance concerns or needs. *Wilderness Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer*
