JOB DESCRIPTION   Love the land, the ocean, and the people of Kohanaiki. “E mālama I ko uka, ko kai, a me ko Kohanaiki no ka pono I kākou”.     Position Title:   GOLF HALE ATTENDANT   Reports to:   DIRECTOR OF GOLF   Job Summary: Golf Hale Attendant is responsible for providing and maintaining a well-stocked, clean, organized, and attractive comfort station for our members and guests.                Job Responsibilities and Standards: The following description of job responsibilities and standards is intended to reflect the essential functions of the position.   This outline does not detail every aspect of the position, and there may be other responsibilities and duties may be assigned.   JOB SPECIFICS: * Open and check all comfort stations to ensure everything is in proper order, including bathrooms, lights, air conditioning, refrigeration, freezer, beverage machines, and ice cream machines. * Inspect, maintain, and clean all food jars, refrigerators, countertops, baskets, trays, floors, and trash throughout the shift. * Inspect that all items are properly stocked and rotated on a first-in-first-out system. * Check all expiration dates on all food and beverage items on a daily basis. * Have a very detailed knowledge of all items offered in the comfort stations and notify a manager of items to be reordered. * Reports all maintenance requirements to the manager on duty or resort services. * Maintains a weekly cleaning schedule for all dispensing machines. * Perform all closing duties at the end of the shift. * Demonstrate ability to prioritize needs proactively. * Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests. * Maintain positive guest relations at all times. * Will be knowledgeable of all member and guest events and be able to answer any questions regarding them. * Actively participates in Safety Programs and abides by all injury reporting and safety behavior requirements. * Follow all sanitation protocols as outlined by Kohanaiki and CDC guidelines.     QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be at least 18 years of age. * Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. * Must have a valid U.S. driver's license. * Must have a valid TB clearance certification or card. * Must have excellent communication skills. * Must be organized. * Must have excellent customer service skills.   CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSIBILITY: * Ensures that the club's customer service standards are maintained at an exceptional level.    * Presents self in a professional manner, including appearance, identification, and general communication and conduct at all times. * Makes a positive contribution to the work environment through presentation of a positive attitude, demonstration of cooperation and teamwork, and a constructive approach to daily events. * Listens effectively, responds to guests’ requests in a friendly “can-do” manner.                                  DEPENDABILITY: * Attendance:   Adheres to the established schedule of work hours.  Follows established procedures for early notification to the supervisor when unable to report to work. Call a manager 30 minutes before the shift starts to avoid an improper call-in.  * Punctuality:    Arrives at work on time and works until authorized to leave.    * Attends all mandatory education/in-service programs and demonstrates understanding of responsibilities through appropriate actions.    * Demonstrates effective communication by utilizing positive verbal and non-verbal skills in all interactions. * Must be able to work a flexible schedule and extra hours when needed.     SAFETY: * Demonstrates adherence to the club's safe practice procedures and makes recommendations to improve safety.   Reports any unsafe work practices to the supervisor. * Consistently utilizes proper body mechanics in performance of responsibilities, as evidenced by supervisor’s observation and no injury to self or others due to improper work habits. * Follows proper reporting procedures when injured at work.  Is aware of the location of Material Safety Data Sheets and refers to them when necessary.   Physical and Mental Requirements of the Job: * Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment while meeting deadlines as directed.              * Must be able to lift 20-30 pounds. * Must be able to work under pressure and multitask while maintaining a professional demeanor. * Must be able to work weekends and holidays.          * Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. * Must have excellent inter-personal skills and speak English fluently.     Other Duties: * Assist with any special project as assigned by management.
