POSITION SUMMARY: The Golf Integration Manager for Bass Pro Shops – Hospitality plays a critical role in developing and sustaining a high-performing golf workforce. The Golf Integration Manager focuses on new hire success, associate engagement, culture development, accountability, and long-term retention of both new and current golf associates. This role ensures that departmental training initiatives align with company values, operational standards, and compliance requirements while fostering a positive, service-driven culture within the Golf Operations and Golf Maintenance teams. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Design, implement, and promote comprehensive training and accountability programs for Golf Operations and Golf Maintenance in partnership with the Learning & Development team Assist in the development of structured onboarding programs that align with operational standards and company culture within the golf team Create, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that support onboarding, training, and operational consistency specific to golf Establish and administer departmental accountability processes and performance expectations for all golf associates Partner closely with Human Resources and L&D to ensure compliance with all training, certification, and regulatory requirements Build and maintain strong working relationships with golf associates, leadership teams, and cross-functional partners Partner with the Culture & Engagement (C&E) team to lead culture development initiatives and team-building programs that promote engagement, professionalism, and retention Support leadership in identifying training gaps and performance improvement opportunities Perform all other duties as assigned to support golf operations and organizational objectives EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Training/Leadership preferred PGA or LPGA certification is highly desirable KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY: In-depth understanding of pro shop operations, tee time scheduling, and tournament logistics Proficiency in golf management software, CRM tools, and POS systems Familiarity with turfgrass management, food and beverage operations, and retail inventory management Basic understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue generation strategies Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams to integrate new systems and/or initiatives Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with guests, associates, and vendors Capability to analyze financial metrics and operational data for strategic decision-making Ability to lead teams through change, manage, and implement new, complex processes Strong critical thinking and adaptability to handle operational challenges in real-time TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Local travel between resort and individual golf courses PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Regularly walks, sits, stands and doe computer work. Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs. INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT: Performs duties within scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives. Analyzes problems and performs needs assessments. Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations that affect policies, procedures, and practices.
