STARTING RATE: $15.00 MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: 21 years old LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Valid Driver’s License and D.M.V. Driving History Printout (no more than 30 days old) JOB SUMMARY: Become proficient or adept at operating machinery or small equipment as it pertains to maintaining a golf course. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a highly motivated individual. Must have the ability to perform physical tasks related to the operation of small equipment and tools. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Keep a clean and safe work environment. Perform tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Keep all golf course equipment, tools, etc. in a clean and good working order. Follow all safety rules and procedures. Participate in and help maintain a harmonious work environment. Other job related duties as assigned and instructed by management. CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPECTATIONS: Perform duties in a courteous and professional manner to ensure meeting guest’s needs. Apply the 6 commitments to superior service when interacting with guests and team members. Show initiative and seek additional assignments that will better serve guests. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work requires considerable and strenuous physical exertion such as frequent climbing of tall ladders, lifting heavy objects over 75 pounds, crouching, long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; recurring bending, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities or crawling in restricted areas. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment is associated with all types of extreme weather and temperatures (hot and cold). The work involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, carts, or machines, or with irritant chemicals. Employees may be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, glasses, hard hats, gloves and boots.
