Description SUNTREE COUNTRY CLUB Established in 1975 Suntree Country Club is a private, member-owned country club built exclusively for the enjoyment, relaxation, and fellowship of its members, their families, and guests. The beautifully landscaped estate offers 36 holes of championship golf designed by Robert Trent Jones and Arnold Palmer respectively, and a state-of-the-art short-game practice facility. Additionally, members enjoy a 13 court racquets complex that includes pickleball, and a beautiful pool with a poolside bar. Food service is handled through 2 large, multi-functional clubhouses, 3 kitchens, and multiple bars, private meeting rooms and an exercise facility. CANDIDATE SUMMARY The perfect candidate will have experience of working with others who share a commitment to outstanding Member Service. They should have a passion for golf and a sincere desire to take care of Members, Guests and Employees. Job Summary: The Outside Staff Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of outside service staff to ensure the highest level of professionalism and Member service is provided in an efficient manner to our Members and Guests. Responsible for promoting a strong team culture and the game of golf. Duties/ Responsibilities: Maintain good working order and keep the golf cart fleet detailed and clean. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Responds promptly to Member needs. Correspond daily with Pro Shop staff for course conditions, daily events and special needs. Contributes to building a positive team spirit. Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly. Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Is consistently at work on time. Follows instructions, responds to management direction. Follow training program in order to maintain a well-trained staff. Must be able to interact with Members and Guests professionally, assisting with changes and last-minute requests. Assist golfers by loading bags, cleaning clubs, and preparing golfers for play ensuring all their needs are met and questions answered. Help golfers after their round by cleaning clubs, delivering them to their cards as needed and checking in the golf carts. Coordinate services with other golf operations staff to ensure seamless and efficient service to Members and Guests. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: Must be able to operate a golf cart. Customer service experience. Golf Knowledge and Etiquette. Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments. Trusted to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary Club information and sensitive employee matters. Excellent time management skills. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must have a drivers license. Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a golf course or hospitality setting. Current PGA or aspiring PGA Student. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods walking, standing, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, or kneeling. Must be able to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. Must be able to lift and carry loads up to 50 pounds at a time. Pushing, pulling and lifting objects from lower to higher position or moving objects horizontally, from position to position.
