Burnaby Golf Operations is seeking customer service-driven individuals to work seasonally in the Golf Division starting in the spring. Duties and responsibilities of Golf Services Assistants include, but are not restricted to:
Qualifications include Grade 12 graduation, including or supplemented by standard commercial courses; plus some related public contact experience, preferably in golf operations, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Requirements include the ability to deal effectively and courteously with the public, and some knowledge of golf course procedures and regulations including golf rules and etiquette. Driver’s Licence for the Province of British Columbia, Class 5, is an asset.
Pay Rate: $25.22 per hour + 12% in lieu of benefits (2024 Rates)
Locations: Riverway Golf Course, Burnaby Mountain Golf Course, Central Park Pitch and Putt, Kensington Pitch and Putt
Hours of Work: This is an auxiliary position, hours and shifts are dependent on operational requirements and scheduled on an as needed basis. Typical shifts are 5-7 hours in length scheduled Monday to Sunday; hours in this position are estimated to be between 20-28 weekly. The successful candidate will be required to have availability weekends.
