Description Cherokee Town & Country Club in Sandy Springs, GA is seeking an accomplished and service-driven Full-Time Golf Shop Attendant to deliver an exceptional retail and hospitality experience to all members and guests. This individual will play a key role in supporting daily golf operations while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and organization within the golf shop, Reports To: Director of Retail. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a key ambassador of the golf operation by delivering an elevated, hospitality-driven experience to every member and guest who enters the golf shop. Provide seamless coordination of tee times and lesson bookings while managing daily check-ins through the NorthStar system with precision and efficiency. Support the execution of tournaments and club events through organized registration and proactive member engagement, while maintaining prompt and polished communication across all phone interactions. Execute retail transactions with accuracy and discretion, and uphold a premier golf shop environment by ensuring merchandise is impeccably displayed, fully stocked, and aligned with the club’s merchandising standards. Anticipate member needs and deliver personalized service that reflects the expectations of a top-tier private club environment. Partner closely with the Merchandise team to receive, prepare, and present new product, maintain optimal inventory levels, and ensure both the sales floor and stockrooms are consistently clean, organized, and professionally maintained. Oversee special orders with attention to detail and timely follow-up, assist in retail initiatives such as the annual employee sale, and maintain essential shop and office supplies. Execute opening and closing procedures with discipline to support smooth daily operations, and take pride in maintaining a pristine, presentation-ready golf shop at all times. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the overall golf operation, and handle member concerns with professionalism, urgency, and sound judgment, keeping golf leadership appropriately informed. Qualifications: · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask · Shows attention to detail and is a problem solver · Helpful, friendly, and positive personality · Exceptional communication and hospitality skills · Strong organizational skills · Maintains a clean and professional workspace · Works well with others · Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time · Ability to lift 20 lbs. without injury Other Skills: · Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required · Experience with RPOS software NorthStar is desirable, but not required · Previous work experience in the private club or golf course setting is preferred -Competitive pay based on experience - $18.00-$20.00.
