Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

This position is held at the Green Gables. Reporting to the Director of Golf, the Golf Shop Attendant will ensure the enjoyment and first-class experience of our members and guests, while maintaining policies, procedures, and golf shop operations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Opening and closing the Clubhouse, including nightly reporting.
  • Always maintain Clubhouse cleanliness and organization.
  • Maintain displays, rotate, and sell merchandise while ensuring a fresh look in the Clubhouse.
  • Attend the reservations line, book tee times and answer inquiries.
  • Deliver excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with daily procedures.
  • Assist members/guests with questions and concerns.
  • Stay in constant contact with the Outside Services team.
  • Contribute to the coordination of all member and guest events and functions.
  • Handle guest complaints in a friendly and professional manner, report complaints to the Director of Golf.
  • Assist the Outside Services and F&B teams when required.
  • Adhere and support all safety requirements and quality standards set forth in the PEI Occupational Health and Safety General Regulations, PEI Occupational Health and Safety Act and Island Coastal’s Safety Management System.
  • Use your experience to identify health and safety deficiencies and support Management in implementing solutions OR report to Management when required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
