The Golf Shop Sales Associate is responsible for assisting in all facets of the Golf Shop operation. The associate must possess a strong desire to work in a fast-paced sales culture, providing excellent customer service. WAGE - $18.00 SESONAL - PART TIME-(3 shifts per week) WHAT WILL I BE DOING? The Golf Shop Sales Associate is responsible for assisting in all facets of the Golf Shop operation. The associate must possess a strong desire to work in a fast-paced sales culture, providing excellent customer service. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Greet and check-in guests and Monterra Passholders by processing green fee transactions. Selling retail merchandise such as apparel, hats, golf balls and golf accessories to customers. Merchandising retails items and assisting in inventory controls (ie. Ball counts, restocking.) Must be able to answer most golf related questions with high accuracy. Must be comfortable in answering phones and providing accurate information. Secondary Duties & Responsibilities Follow all standard operating procedures and ensure all Golf Shop duties are carried out efficiently and in a timely manner. Assist in tournament setup and scoring. Conduct daily cash out and end of shift procedures. Ensure that the Golf Shop is kept “show ready” at all times. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? Must be able to bring a positive and friendly attitude to work every day with a high-level of enthusiasm and energy. Must have previous customer service experience and be confident in handling difficult customer situations. Previous golf experience and golf knowledge an asset. Must have strong computer and cash handling skills. Must be able to work independently and in a group environment efficiently and effectively. The ability to problem solve, organize, multi-task and communicate effectively is important.
