JOB OVERVIEW

Are you a Goods Inward Associate, looking for your next challenge?

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all goods entering the warehouse are checked and accounted for, while assisting with the management of inventory and products.

  • Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading products efficiently.
  • Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment.
  • Perform materials handling duties, ensuring safe and accurate movement of goods within the warehouse.
  • Utilise forklift equipment as needed to transport heavy items safely throughout the facility.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and report discrepancies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a high standard of customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely.
  • Experience with shipping receiving processes and materials handling techniques is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a friendly demeanour towards customers and colleagues alike.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills within the role.
    Data protection is essential in this role, so all applicants would need to be willing to undertake a detailed DBS check.
    Working hours are
    Monday to Friday - 6am to 4pm
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: From £11.44 per hour
    Expected hours: 47.25 per week
