Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE/ ROLE:

Responsible for ensuring the accurate and ongoing management of stock in and out of the warehouse. Maintaining smooth logistical operation and work closely with supply chain and production planning teams to ensure stock is received in accordance to the production plan and shipped based on customer requirements

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Goods In
    1.1. Review incoming delivery plan and prepare
    1.2. Responsible for updating and managing the goods in display via Float (scheduling application)
    1.3. Tracking container deliveries and updating delivery dates and times with hauliers
    1.4. Continually monitor and advise on improvements to goods in practices
    1.5. Liaise with suppliers to rearrange deliveries if necessary to ensure stock is in place for production plan
    1.6. Report inbound stock discrepancies to suppliers
    1.7. Build and distribute container packs and pallet plans for all container received products
  2. Goods Out
    2.1. Maintain regular access to customer portals and extract required information for goods out
    2.2. Responsible for updating and managing the goods out display via Float (scheduling application)
    2.3. Organising transport for domestic goods out
    2.4. Daily reports of goods out marshalling locations to ensure all stock is shipped correctly
    2.5. Report outbound stock discrepancies to customers with an action plan on how to move forward
    2.6. Collaborate with Supply Chain, Warehouse and Production Planning
    2.7. Ensure correct transport requirements e.g. temperature-controlled containers
    2.8. Build and distribute packing lists for warehouse picking
  3. Reporting
    3.1. Develop reporting to track purchase orders not received in full and liaise with Supply Chain/Logistics
    3.2. Develop reporting to track sales orders not shipped in full and liaise with Supply Chain/Project Managers
