GENERAL WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE – GOODS IN +RETURNS

• Full-time hours available - Mon - Fri Full-time 8:30am - 5pm
• Salary £12.60 per hour | Reviewed after completion of probation period (3 months)
• Salary paid monthly 28th of each month
• 28 days holiday to include bank holidays and public holidays

Partridges are a family owned and run business providing fulfilment solutions, direct mailing, marketing merchandise and print facilities to a variety of clients, predominantly charities.
We are looking for an individual to join and assist our goods in team, helping to check in orders and returns as well as keep picking locations stocked and organised at all times.
The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse environment experience and be forklift trained.
They will be flexible within their duties to assist with daily work load requirements.

SKILLS REQUIRED :

Counterbalance Forklift trained/licenced - Reach truck licenced an advantage but not essential
Previous Warehouse experience an advantage
Methodical, organised and self-motivated, ensuring tasks are completed to a good standard
Working part of a close team but also on own initiative
Strong communication skills when liaising with warehouse and office staff
Excellent time keeping
Taking pride in their responsibilities and duties
Flexible with tasks and overtime requirements
Conscientious approach essential
Able to prioritise and manage tasks independently
Problem solving skills
Positive, can-do attitude and proactive approach to daily tasks
Willingness to be flexible with tasks

Receiving in deliveries – hand and/or forklift
Checking in deliveries and recording information on goods in sheets / Warehouse management software
Ensuring all stock checked in is recorded and organised appropriately
Preparing stock for delivery or collection – large and small requirements
Ensuring the warehouse is clean and clear at all times with regular sweeping and warehouse floor cleaning
Pallet checking for auditing purposes and condensing as required
