The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Goods Inwards Inspector to join our logistics team in Macquarie Park, Sydney. In this role, you will conduct inspections, perform quality checks, and manage product acceptance or rejection in line with QMS requirements. Your work will directly support the delivery of life-changing hearing solutions to our customers around the world. Key Responsibilities Conduct inspections according to quality schedules and specifications. Accept or reject products based on defined standards and quality requirements. Perform Oracle transactions for product disposition, returns, and receipts. Inspect and verify documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Maintain accurate data entry and electronic records in Oracle. Manage product identification, storage, and handling in line with company procedures. Report and record non-conformances identified during the inspection process. Support continuous improvement by contributing ideas to enhance systems and processes. Work safely, following all workplace safety procedures and reporting any hazards or incidents. About You. To add value to Cochlear in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: Experience using measuring equipment (e.g., metric tools, calipers, micrometers). Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings. Solid understanding of quality requirements and processes. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Intermediate PC skills and experience with Windows-based programs. Experience using Oracle or other ERP system. Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
