JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Goods-In/Out Supervisor to oversee the efficient and effective management of mainly outgoing goods onto refrigerated vehicles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all goods are stored and loaded onto delivery vehicle in accordance with company standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role is essential.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands associated with warehouse operations.
  • Proficient in loading and receiving processes, including familiarity with relevant documentation.
  • Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Familiar with Microsoft office, spreadsheets, emails etc.
  • Competence in operating forklifts and other materials handling equipment safely.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with other departments.

Responsibilities
  • Organise cold storage area and loading of refrigerated goods onto delivery vehicles.
  • Checking the receipt of goods, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company procedures.
  • Using forklift, pump trucks and some manual handling
  • Unloading and inspection of deliveries, ensuring that all items meet quality standards before acceptance.
  • Implement and maintain tracking inventory and optimising storage solutions.
  • Train and mentor staff in best practices for materials handling, safety protocols, and efficient warehouse operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
