What You’ll Do: As a GoodWorks Lead Coach, you’ll provide oversight, train, evaluate, and support our GoodWorks team and mission to enable employment by providing opportunities for personal and professional growth, while committing to sustainable practices. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service while supporting the GoodWorks team and persons served through Southern Oregon Goodwill’s various Workforce Development programs, including the Job Connection, GoodWorks Intern Program, GoodWorks Advancement Programs, and other stakeholders. Possess top-notch interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work well with diverse populations such as individuals with varying education, skill sets, and those experiencing challenging life circumstances. Thorough understanding of Southern Oregon Goodwill’s mission, programs, and services and the ability to articulate them to various stakeholders. Ability to perform and train to all essential position responsibilities and expectations of the GoodWorks Job Coach role. Develop and maintain an understanding of and perform work in Goodwill’s Retail, Production and Warehouse departments as needed to meet the needs of the organization’s goals. Qualifications xperience / Qualifications Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the above essential duties satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, human resources, human services, or related field plus two years recent and relevant experience. A portion of the education requirement may be substituted with experience, depending on circumstances. 1+ years’ experience in a supervisory or management role. 2+ years’ experience in career counseling, human services, training, or comparable position. Previous experience working in a case management or customer relation management system preferred. Experience developing recruiting, retention, and/or job placement strategies for individuals with diverse backgrounds and skills sets a plus. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Internet, and other business digital platforms. Must be at least 21 years of age. Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Current regular Oregon Driver’s License (California Driver’s License for California employees). Please note that successful candidates must possess a valid full driver’s license (not a permit, temporary or provisional license) for a minimum of the last 3 years, as well as a clean driving record and insurance. Reliable independent transportation, with the ability to drive locally and regionally year-round.
