We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing and IT infrastructure, with expertise in various cloud platforms and services. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions that meet the needs of our organization and clients. Your role will involve working with cutting-edge technologies to enhance our cloud architecture and ensure optimal performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and cloud architecture.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Go, Ruby on Rails, or .NET.
• Experience with operating systems including Linux and Windows; familiarity with shell scripting (Bash) is a plus.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including VPNs and Meraki configurations.
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes for managing containerized applications.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles and methodologies.

• Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and Rackspace.
• Develop and maintain cloud services following service-oriented architecture principles.
• Utilize virtualization technologies including VMware, OpenStack, and Docker for efficient resource management.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible to automate deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions into existing applications using RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Monitor and optimize cloud performance, ensuring high availability and security of web services.
• Conduct system hardening practices to protect cloud environments from vulnerabilities.
• Manage databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL solutions within the cloud infrastructure.
• Support DevOps practices by utilizing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, Git, and Puppet.
• Participate in Agile software development processes to deliver high-quality applications on time.
