Description & Requirements
Maximus is seeking a Google Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions across complex, multi-cloud environments. This role requires deep hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), infrastructure automation, and cloud-native tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.

PROJECT SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficiency in GCP and AWS; understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS models.
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Familiarity with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud APIs, SDKs, and secure integrations.
• Knowledge of federal compliance standards (FedRAMP, FISMA).

YEARS OF REQUIRED WORK-RELATED EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years

PREFERRED KEY SKILLS AND ABILITIES (NOT CONTRACTUALLY REQUIRED):

• Cloud certifications (e.g., Google Professional Cloud Engineer, AWS SysOps Admin).
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible.
• Familiarity with NIST and TIC 3.0 frameworks.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog or Google Cloud Operations Suite
