This role is a hybrid position with an onsite expectation in one of our locations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, or equivalent experience.
5 years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or open-source computing infrastructure.
4 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture and services.
Minimum 3 years of experience designing solutions for analytics or advanced modeling teams.
Technical Skills
A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and strong mind for building strategy, streamlining processes and enabling analytics capabilities and governance
Strong experience applying architectural principles to business challenges and create technical roadmaps and requirements documentation
Proven track record for recognizing pain points within the organization, functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies
Ability to understand and recognize the economics of analytics technology and the business goals
Mastery of Python and data science libraries and best practices.
Strong experience with GCP data warehousing and processing technologies such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer.
Experience with GCP storage solutions such as Cloud Storage and BigLake, and data formats like Parquet, JSON, ORC, Avro.
Proficiency in databases such as DB2, Oracle, Teradata, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
Experience with SparkSQL, Spark MLlib, and third-party machine learning algorithms such as XGBoost and LightGBM using PySpark.
Familiarity with SAS and Linux/Unix environments.
Understanding of web technologies and modern data architecture.
Knowledge of advanced technologies, including machine learning, NLP, and streaming analytics.

Experience operating in Scrum Project Management and traditional project management, able to adjust plans as needed and escalate / manage risks in a timely manner
Comfortable multi-tasking, highly flexible, and highly motivated to provide stellar customer service and support
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact, collaborate, and present to all levels of the organization
Ability to curate training roadmaps that empower analysts with the proper skills to advance the organization’s goals and create / maintain appropriate instructional aids
Ability to lead Advanced Analytics user group by identifying opportunistic topics aligned with strategic goals and organizing cross-functional presenters, including technical and business partners
Candidate must be a self-starter and creative problem-solver with an innovative and curious mindset
Strong ability to identify and manage risks and escalate appropriately and timely
Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
Preferences
Exposure to or hands-on experience with other BI / visualizations platforms like Microsoft Fabric / Power BI, Tableau, and/or Looker helpful
Professional Cloud Architect certification preferred
Financial and/or Banking background preferred
