Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver a high level of administrative support to the Governance function of Council to ensure successful completion of key deliverables and legislative and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Accurate and efficient data input and records management using a range of Council databases and software.
  • Maintain various governance registers to ensure staff have access to updated/required documentation when required, including but not limited to staff authority cards and certificates.
  • Competently use Council’s document management systems to retrieve information in order to process correspondence in accordance with agreed service levels and legislative requirements.
  • Contribute to the review and development of Council’s Governance framework and the Integrated Planning and Reporting framework, assisting in the preparation of strategic planning documents such as the Annual Report.
  • Contribute to the effective delivery of required documentation for council meetings and information sessions within required timeframes.
  • Provide assistance in insurance claim processing as required and assist with the management of Council’s insurance portfolio in order to minimise cost and risk exposure.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and services provided by the role and team to ensure effective, efficient and safe delivery of objectives
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Full time: 70-hour fortnight
Salary: Range from $70,179 to $80,704 pa + 12% super
