JOB SUMMARY

At the heart of Ofgem’s mission to drive Net Zero and protect energy consumers, strong governance and strategic reporting are vital. We’re looking for a Governance and Reporting Analyst to join us and help deliver meaningful change by supporting smarter, faster and more effective portfolio delivery.
Ofgem is Great Britain’s independent energy regulator. We’re at the forefront of change across the energy sector, driving toward Net Zero whilst protecting energy consumers, especially vulnerable people.
We’re offering a permanent opportunity within a collaborative, future-focused team that plays a key role in driving transformation across our digital portfolio. This is a great chance to join a visible and influential group, helping to shape how we make decisions and deliver change.
You’ll support the governance and reporting infrastructure that underpins our portfolio delivery, helping to ensure the right priorities are progressed at the right time and in the right way. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, support governance boards, and contribute to a growing culture of transparency, agility and improvement.
We’re looking for someone with a passion for good governance, clear communication skills, and efficient processes. You’ll bring a keen eye for detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and the confidence to liaise with colleagues at all levels.
You’ll be part of a supportive and inclusive team that is central to our success. We work together to identify smarter ways of working, unlock opportunities for improvement, and create the conditions for successful delivery. What’s more, you’ll benefit from hybrid working, career development opportunities and a culture that values balance, purpose and progression, allowing you every opportunity to thrive in your new role.
At Ofgem, we have a critical purpose to protect energy consumers, and the work of our digital portfolio is central to achieving this. Your work will directly contribute to more efficient delivery and better outcomes for consumers, making this an exciting opportunity to have a real impact where it matters most.
