Description

Role: Governance and Support Co-ordinator
Responsible to: Corporate Services Director
Pay & hours: £29,832.30 for 37.5 hours per week
We are looking to hear from passionate, pro-active, organised and professional individuals to provide support to our Executive and Board of Trustees to ensure the smooth running of the charity and compliance with legislative requirements.
The Administrative and Compliance Officer will play a crucial role in co-ordinating Executive Team and Trustee Administration needs, corporate governance, regulatory compliance across the charity and its subsidiaries.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Verbal communication and people skills: - often being the first point of contact for the CEO, you will need to possess excellent communication skills. The image of the charity relies heavily on the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with a wide variety of people including Funders, Professionals, Partners, Employees, Trustees and Supporters.
  • Time management skills: - you will need to possess excellent time management and organisational skills to be able to deal with a multitude of tasks and a range of priorities.
  • Information Technology skills: - you will need strong IT skills and be competent in the use of most Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel. A working knowledge of PowerPoint and Publisher would also be helpful. A working knowledge of using social media channels such as Linked In and Twitter would be desirable. Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Zoom essential.
  • Written communication skills: - you will need outstanding written skills and an ability to produce documents, reports and papers accurately, and present them well.
