ABOUT YOU

We are seeking an individual who holds a Certificate IV in Business Administration or related field and has a current NSW Class C Drivers Licence.

You will have the following skills and experience;

  • Experience, understanding and the ability to interpret legislation.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level of competence in the use of Microsoft applications and administration of an Electronic Document and Record Management System (i.e. HPE Content Manager or TRIM).
Responsibilities
  • Maintaining and updating Council’s Policy and Procedure Register, including administering review processes.
  • Managing and updating the Delegations Register and ensuring legislative compliance by tracking changes and notifying responsible officers.
  • Reviewing and recommending updates to Council’s Privacy Management Plan.
  • Assisting in the investigation of privacy complaints in accordance with legislative requirements.
  • Coordinating and issuing notifications of privacy breaches to affected individuals and relevant authorities
