The Governance Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the organisation adheres to established policies and regulations. This position involves overseeing governance processes, maintaining compliance, and supporting the administrative functions of the Governing Board. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong organisational skills, and demonstrate proficiency in various office applications.

DUTIES

  • Assist with the development and implementation of governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to governance activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for governor meetings.
  • Conduct data entry tasks to ensure all information is up-to-date and correctly documented.
  • Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes during governance-related meetings.
  • Facilitate communication regarding governance matters.
  • Document creation, collaboration, and data management.
  • Provide clerical support as needed, including filing, typing correspondence.
  • Maintain a high standard of phone etiquette when communicating with stakeholders.
