For Germany, the base salary range for this position is between EUR 64,00 and EUR 106,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Governance & Steering Officer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our Alternative Risk Transfer unit (ART). You will work alongside a talented team of experienced governance professionals.
You are the point of contact for business partners with regards to Governance, Risk and Control and selected Reporting topics. This includes working closely with our business partners to continuously improve our governance, risk, and compliance framework.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build, maintain, and improve ART frameworks and process controls, including tool infrastructure and related databases, within the framework.
  • Track, control, monitor, and report on governance breaches, working to maintain our Risk Control Self-Assessment framework.
  • Support various internal or external reportings including certain financial reporting
  • In collaboration with business partners, be responsible for the development, monitoring, and reporting on KPIs related to the ART framework, aligning with standards and metrics.
  • Work closely with governance, legal, compliance, and risk management functions to exchange insights and relevant data while implementing and maintaining quality governance standards, particularly within the captive context.
  • Proactively identify any potential gaps and improvement areas in our governance processes, aligning with ART standards.
  • Support and/or lead governance workstreams related to our business segment.
