Aston Martin is built on passion, creativity, and the relentless drive to shape the future of mobility. Every detail of our cars embodies beauty, innovation, and craftsmanship – and the same spirit drives our people.
We are seeking a Government & Corporate Affairs Adviser to join our small but dynamic team at this pivotal moment in the automotive industry. With revolution in technology, environmental policy, and global trade, there has never been a more exciting time to work at the intersection of business and public affairs.
The role
Working as a team with both the Director of Government, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability and the Corporate Affair Senior Manager, you will play a hands-on role delivering Aston Martin’s Government and Corporate Affairs programme. This means:
About you
You will bring a minimum of three years’ experience in government affairs, corporate affairs or public policy, gained in-house, within an agency, or in a political environment. This experience should include a broad understanding of UK parliamentary and government processes and decision making. This is a global role so curiosity about, interest in, and experience of public policy processes in key markets such as the EU and US might be useful.
Organised and proactive, you’ll thrive on managing multiple priorities with energy and focus. Your natural curiosity and commercial awareness will help you understand how policy shapes business success, while your resilience and hands-on approach will give you the confidence to engage senior stakeholders and deliver high impact results. Collaborative and open-minded, you’ll enjoy working at a fast pace across functions with colleagues in Legal, Finance, Marketing, Design and beyond.
A background in politics, government, international relations or a related field is essential and your attitude, initiative, commitment to high standards, attention to detail and drive to make an impact that sets you apart.
You must have strong writing skills and be able to analyse, synthesize and brief on public policy topics at pace.
You do not need to be an automotive industry expert to take on this position.
There may be some occasional out of hours working required to support key events or engage stakeholders in other time zones.
Some occasional European travel may be required.
Why join us?
Apply now to join Aston Martin and help drive the future of our corporate affairs function.
