We are seeking a proactive and experienced Government Relations Officer (GRO) to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will manage all government-related processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations and facilitating smooth operations for the company.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Government Relations Officer role, preferably in the logistics or related industries.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Saudi labor laws and government regulations.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with government officials and internal teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues promptly.
Responsibilities
  • Handle all government-related documentation and approvals, including visas, labor cards, permits, and licenses.
  • Liaise with government departments, such as the Ministry of Labor, GOSI, Immigration, and Municipality, to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Manage the renewal of official documents, including trade licenses, company registrations, and employee permits.
  • Stay updated on Saudi labor laws and government policies to advise the company on compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate processing of employee-related government transactions.
  • Represent the company in government offices, ensuring timely completion of all required procedures.
  • Assist in resolving disputes or issues with government entities and provide solutions to challenges related to regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain an organized record of all government interactions and documentation.
