We are looking for a Government Relations Officer (GRO) who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth startup environment and can support our people initiatives across the organization. About the Role We are seeking a proactive and versatile GRO to join our People & Culture team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day HR operations while partnering with Legal and compliance teams to ensure our government systems and records are maintained up to date. What You'll Do Immigration & HR: Process visas, Iqamas, work permits, and renewals for employees and their dependents; support employee onboarding/offboarding government procedures. Licensing & Registration: Handle issuance, renewal, and updates for commercial registrations, trade licenses, and permits. Liaison: Act as primary point of contact with entities like MHRSD, GOSI, Jawazat, ZATCA, and Chamber of Commerce. Compliance: Monitor KSA labor/immigration laws, update HR/management, and ensure adherence to regulations. Documentation: Prepare, submit, and track official documents; maintain organized records. Reporting: Provide weekly/periodic reports to management on government activities and compliance status. What We’re Looking For Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 2+ years of experience as GRO or a PRO or similar role, preferably in a tech startup or B2B SaaS environment. Strong knowledge of Saudi labor laws and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Arabic and English. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders. Strong understanding immigration procedures, and relevant government platforms (Qiwa, GOSI, Absher).
