You will play a vital role in delivering patient care. Key responsibilities include: Conducting routine and urgent appointments, face-to-face, online and via telephone, ensuring high-quality care. Being part of our weekly rota for online consultations/triage. Prescribing according to local and national guidelines.
Managing administrative tasks, such as letters, results, referrals, and emails, in a timely manner. Making appropriate referrals and managing related admin. Checking and signing repeat prescriptions to maintain care quality. Providing cover for colleagues in emergencies, considering individual commitments.
Participating in on-call sessions. Collaborating with other health and social care providers to deliver integrated care. Maintaining accurate consultation records using the EMIS. Maintain high standards of clinical work, including full participation in practice meetings, undertaking audits and significant events, developing protocols etc.
Participate in all areas of service delivery, including all appropriate NHS services, private work such as reports and medicals, and University work such as Extenuating Circumstances Forms. Contribute towards the achievement of NHS contractual obligations, such as Local and National Enhanced Services, Quality Outcome Framework This is a dynamic role that offers both patient care and team collaboration in a supportive environment
