Description

The Greyswood Practice is seeking a hardworking, flexible and detail orientated individual to join our team.
As our patients first point of contact with the GP Surgery, you will need to be confident in dealing with queries in person, over the phone and via our online portal, problem solving and adapting to the needs of the practice.
This position combines both Medical Receptionist and Administrator duties and will require you to work independently and as part of a team.
You will be expected to work to a high standard to ensure that the GP surgery runs effectively and efficiently. Experience of providing excellent customer service is essential as well as an ability to adapt to new systems and processes in an ever-changing environment.
In return, we will offer you a friendly, supportive work environment with excellent opportunities for personal and professional development. You will also be entitled to join the NHS pension scheme.

You will also aid the clinicians and the patients in their patient journey by managing prescriptions, referrals and other associated administrative tasks.
No two days are the same in General Practice, particularly at the current time, and you will need to be flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude and plenty of initiative.
Excellent time keeping and a good standard of written and spoken English are a must.

This role is for 29.25 hours per week worked across Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (7.45am - 6.30pm)
Occasional Saturday mornings (on a rota basis) will also be required for which Time off in Lieu will be given.
