Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and efficient Receptionist to join our busy GP practice. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring they receive excellent service and care. You will be responsible for managing appointments, answering patient queries, handling administrative tasks, and supporting the clinical team in delivering a high standard of patient care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of patient documents and information.
  • Handle patient enquiries about services, prescriptions, and referrals.
  • Provide administrative support to the clinical team, including processing paperwork and filing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
